Indigenous Inclusion Policy

Prime Essential is committed to adhering to their Indigenous Inclusion policy through strong relationships, open communication and sustainable business partnerships. Prime Essential recognizes First Nation, Inuit, and Metis Indigenous Rights under the Constitution of Canada and respects their connection with the land and its natural resources.

Prime Essential is committed to the following Indigenous Policy in the following ways:

  2. Engage Early: To provide timely, open, and transparent communication when working with Indigenous people and communities

  3. Economic Participation: Supporting the growth and development of Indigenous businesses through strategic partnerships; Providing Indigenous people with long-term meaningful employment and training opportunities; and Adhering to the highest health and safety standards for all Indigenous employees, sub-contractors and vendors.

 

Prime Essential commits to periodically review this policy to ensure it remains relevant and meets changing expectations.
